No, I don't have a traditional background - Pierre Cherelle

Ten years ago, the research group focused mainly on humanoid robots (such as Lucy) and robotic prostheses equipped with actuators and pneumatic muscles.

During his seven years of doctoral research, Dr Cherelle devoted his time to building three bionic foot prototypes, with which he succeeded in validating the proof of concept. The project, known at the time as 'AMPFoot', then continued thanks to the resources of Innoviris Brussel.

Today, Pierre Cherelle is in the final phase before creating a spin-off and is looking for investors.

Initially, we'll be able to concentrate on research and development with a team of three or four people, in collaboration with Verhaert and Brubotics.
Then, when we start marketing, we'll need to rapidly increase our workforce.
